BHA peeling is a chemical treatment designed to remove super?cial layers of skin. It is used to help dry out active acne, reduce acne scarring, and lighten hyper pigmented/dark patches on the skin and aid in reducing visible excessive clogging and thickening of the skin.
Salicylic Acid (BHA) – natural source of aspirin. Enters through the hair follicle. Is the only acid known to work the lining of the pore removing clogging. Dissolves oil.
Glycolic Acid

Glycolic acid is used mainly on any skin type and condition. Very good when dealing with the thicker more clogged skin types. Usually any area of sun damage, mottled hyper pigmentation and very ?ne wrinkling may be improved with glyolic acid peeling. Most commonly, the face, neck and decolletage are the targeted areas for such peels.
Glycolic Acid – natural source of sugar cane. Exfoliates from under stratum corneum melting the ionic bond that holds the dead skin cells to the skin.
Lactic Acid

Lactic acid is used mainly on pink/peaches and cream, ?ner more mature skin types. Lactic acid is a more hydrating and nourishing approach to peeling. Good for clients with ?ne to medium deep lines/wrinkles who do not have a thickened epidermis. Lactic acid increases the clients production of hyaluronic acid and exfoliates from the stratum corneum upwards and most commonly, the face, neck and decolletage are the targeted areas for such peels. Visible peeling is not generally associated with this type of peel.
Lactic Acid – natural source of sour milk. Works in the same manner as glycolic acid but is gentler and more nourishing as it increases production of collagen and hyaluronic acid.
